Rachel enthusiastically joined the THPHCC team in December of 2019. She grew up here in San Diego after moving from England with her family as a child. After graduating high school, she attended Mesa Community College to obtain a degree in Business Administration. She realized that her true passion was working with animals and became a student at PIMA Medical Institute. Rachel earned her Associates degree in Veterinary Technology and graduated cum laude. During her externships, she had the unique opportunity to work with the UC Davis cardiology team at the San Diego Zoo, getting up close and personal with a rare Snow Leopard!

Rachel passed her State and National Boards in 2016 and became an RVT. The thing she loves the most about the veterinary field is the constant opportunity to learn new things. She is especially interested in surgery, anesthesia and dentistry.

When she is away from work, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her Springer Spaniels, Harvey and Pippa. Her hobbies include cooking, gardening and hiking.
