I found my forever vet office close to home!

I have been going to Dr. Cote in the UTC area for most of my vet visits. Recently she retired and I thought this was a good opportunity to find another veterinarian that was closer to my location. I have had some terrible experiences with other ones near me and felt a lot of anxiety switching but this location was offering a discount for first time visit so I decided to give it a shot. I was not disappointed.
Unfortunately, going to a vet for something other than a checkup is highly stressful because it means something is wrong with your dog. My dogs tend to have a lot of anxiety but with recent issues with flooding in my unit, this got worse and my dogs had blood in their diarrhea. I was extremely worried and in full panic mode when I called this clinic. The pumpkin and bland 'chicken & rice' diet was not cutting it. Also with Covid, this was just another thing on my plate.
From start to finish, this office handled everything with extra precaution and the staff was so professional. They staggered patients and gave my dogs their utmost attention. Dr. Wood followed up with me constantly until my dogs health was back to normal. He provided extra information regarding diet changes and would let me call him to ask my "dumb panic mode questions". He is so patient and so optimistic too. It's just delightful to work with him! I'm so happy I found my forever vet office close to home!
